Various Artists - 20 Great Oldies
Is it just me or do these compilation on A.R.C. really sound so poor? Many songs have no bass at all and sound like a tin can.

Side A and B are reversed on my copy.

Paul Würges - Der deutsche Bill Haley
Fun fact: I bought a copy of this record a while ago on recordsale.de...and mine was autographed at the "Crazy Alm" too (but in December 1980). It even came with an extra autograph of Paul Würges inside its sleeve. Whoever owned it before, I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU!

B10 "Poor Boy" is credited to Elvis Presley and Vera Matson but is a totally different song.

Jerry Lee Lewis - Live At The Star-Club Hamburg
My mono copy has a different back cover where the catalogue of the mono release is listed only. I uploaded a photo of it. Could not find this version anywhere else so far. The record itself looks exactly the same as the labels already shown here.

[no artist listed] - It's Something Else
Any ideas on the artists on this compilation? Since "Music For Pleasure" was associated with EMI and usually released material by original artists I'm wondering why there are no artists given at all. Some versions are really good, others not so much. Rocky Sharpe is shown on front and back cover but only listed as "model".

Tanzorchester Paul Kley - Goody, Goody / Lambeth Walk
The vocal part on "Lambeth Walk" is sung in German, the song was also called "In Lambert's Nachtlokal". I guess that's why Ralph Maria Siegel is given credit as a composer as well.

Here's a nice video with good audio, but unfortunately playing Side A only.

Al Jolson - Rock-a-Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody / California, Here I Come
Okay, thanks for the information. I will add a new entry...and I just noticed I managed to cut out the labels correctly but the background is black, not white. Sorry, I will try to correct this as well.

*EDIT*

Done!

Bobby Day - Rockin' Robin / Over And Over
I just bought a South African copy of this record. The flip side is the same but it was released on the (to me unknown) *renown* label as N.1011. Matrix reads T7899-3 and T9800-3. Can't find anything about this release on the internet.

Bing And Gary Crosby - Play A Simple Melody / I Didn't Slip, I Wasn't Pushed, I Fell
I do have the same record (UK pressing), but was released on Brunswick.
Should I make a new entry although the matrix and catalogue numbers are the same as above?

Al Jolson - Rock-a-Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody / California, Here I Come
I do have a pressing of this record that was released on the Columbia label (DB.50106). I can't find any information on this issue, it was Made in India and contains the recordings from "The Jolson Story" (L4140 + L4141). Seems to be a very rare record, maybe you like to add label photos?
