I think they used just a blown up image of the CD, which makes it look kind of pixelated. Just a heads up when viewing the cover.

Joyful Jukebox 6th Jul 2023		Vinyl Album Nat King Cole - The Man And His Music	Well, I put it off long enough. Added item, label and photos trying best to explain how the jacket unfolds. I also added every page of the 16 page booklet. It's a lot of work but out of my respect for Nat it was a pleasure. P.S. Please note the notice on the bottom of page 14: "The songs are listed in this account in the order in which the original versions were released. Capitol did not start recording in stereo until late 1955, so many of the Cole hits were available in monophonic only. In 1961, Capitol recorded new versions, in stereo, of the old Cole hits. On this album, many of the selections were chosen from those re-recordings. All other numbers are heard in their original, stereo versions."

Also, I like the album cover that alludes to the idea that these two guys met in the woods surrounded by a bunch of instruments and amps. A very relatable situation that we don’t seem to acknowledge much.

Also, the site says it’s on black vinyl but mine is on a very pink vinyl. Mine is a very early copy, so could it have been the first 500 or 1,000 copies?

Joyful Jukebox 5th Mar 2023		Vinyl Album The Crew-Cuts - The Crew-Cuts On The Campus	Added record entry and images. If I had to guess I would say this record was released between July or August, 1954. I think this because the, actually very well written, liner notes talk about their first two singles with the latter “Sh-boom” being released in June. But the liner notes don’t at all mention the follow up single “Oop-Shoop” that came Out in September. So my guess is it’s a late Summer release, but I repeat it’s only a guess.

The original mono version from 1957 (not yet on the site) has a version of the cover without the purple dressed Patti. The only other one that does this in the Foursiders series is The Liza Minnelli Foursider. If you want to change it, that is fine with me. And if we’re on the subject of changing, can we change the format to a Double LP?

Also note: if someone could link this to Sergio Mendes main discography. As far as I know, this is the only '66 record that starts the groups name with "the".
