Bill Johnson - We'll Keep A Welcome / The Four Winds And The Seven Seas (1949)
Was beginning to think the record was never issued. But the other day after many years of waiting one appeared on E-Bay for £8 which I snapped up. I will post the label pictures sometime after the record comes.

"Tennessee" Ernie Ford - Sixteen Tons / You Don't Have To Be A Baby To Cry (1956)
For it to enter the 6 Jan 1956 it must have been issued in the last week of 1955. Since that NME date would be a week ending and the chart itself covering sales before the 1 Jan 1956.

It also went straight in at number one.

Tex Ritter - High Noon (Do Not Forsake Me) / Boogie Woogie Cowboy (1952)
Odd that this version is more expensive than the other version!
Presumably when the film version was issued in the UK Capitol would have stopped making the other version, thus making it less widespread at least in the UK.
I can only assume that it's more expensive because people from around the world (especially the USA) want the film version, which wasn't issued in their own countries.

Bill Lee And Brothers - Lament / Goin' Co'tin' (1955)
If you search for the film release date in the UK on Google it tells you the 15 September 1954. But on the IMDB it states 23 December 1954.
Due to the January 1955 release of the records I think the 23 December would be the correct release date of the film in the UK. Afteral it makes sense to release the records when the film was out rather than several months before it's release!
