Gunnar Lundén-Welden - Potpurri På Svenska Danslekar / Potpurri På Svenska Danslekar (1955)
I think you're right, slholzer.

from Midsummer in Sweden

"The tradition of dancing around the Midsummer pole is an old one, though of course the dances have changed over the centuries. Today organized Swedish Midsummer festivals typically include exhibitions of folk dancing in traditional costumes, as well as ring dances and games for people of all ages to join in. No Midsummer celebration is complete without Små grodorna, a dancing game in which people of all ages hop around the pole while singing about little frogs. The goofiness is part of the fun!"

It does sound interesting. The dancing appears to be more ring or folk than square. (Disclaimer: I'm not an expert on Swedish culture, but the above does seem to pertain to the record.)

Gunnar Lundén-Weldens Orkester
HILDING PETTERSSON lekledare
Potpurri På Svenska Danslekar sammanställt av
Knut Lekare
Sju Vackra Flickor - Viljen I Veta - Jänta Å Ja

Google translate says:
Gunnar Lundén-Weldens Orchestra
HILDING PETTERSSON animators
Potpourri At Swedish dancing games compiled by
Knut Swivels
Seven Beautiful Girls - Will you Know - Lassie A Yes

Lekledare, which translated as "animators", also translates as "games organizer" or "game leader".

Lys Assia - Oh! My Pa-Pa (O Mein Papa) / Du Bist Mein Liebshoen (You Are My Beloved) (1953)
The earlier scans suggest both sides are actually performed in English, so the absence of the English titles and additional text on the recently added scans does seem a bit odd.

Percy Faith - The Song From Moulin Rouge (Where Is Your Heart) / Swedish Rhapsody (Midsummer Vigil) (1953)
FWIW, the ad linked by xiphophilos shows Columbia 39938 with "Your Cheatin' Heart" as the B side. This ad also shows Columbia 39945 with "Tell Me A Story" as the B side.

Those were the only two I checked, but the data here at 45worlds shows the opposite for both of those entries. On the 45, "Tell Me A Story" is shown as the A side at 45cat. But on the 45 for "Your Cheatin' Heart", it is shown on 45cat as the B side.

[Unknown] - ସାଖୀଗୋପାଲ (Sakhigopal) No. 3 / ସାଖୀଗୋପାଲ (Sakhigopal) No. 4
The last line of Oriya text on this issue matches the last line of text on the Senola label scans shown on the page linked by xiphophilos. That web page transliterates that line of text as Shenora Natya Parishad, which is already shown here in the notes. Google translate doesn't offer Oriya yet.

These Indian labels are often very attractive. I'm entranced by the "Kali Films" labels shown on the linked page.

B. B. "Blues Boy" King - Boogie Rock / Talkin' The Blues (1955)
The record was reviewed by Billboard in its 1955-07-16 issue (page 46) with Boogie Rock listed second. Of course, Billboard reviews cannot be relied upon to distinguish A and B sides. On a humorous note, the same ad linked by xiphophilos appears in this earlier issue of Billboard on the same page as the review.

Trade ads should be generally reliable. After all, the issuing company should know. But I've seen at least one case where the labels were marked as "A" and "B" and a trade ad listed the sides in reverse order. I wonder if other factors beyond the record company's intention might come into play when an advert is being devised. Factors such as typesetting, layout, balance, and eye-appeal come to mind.

Thomas And West - Barney Google / I Love Me (1923)
No relation to the world famous search engine.

From Wikipedia:

"...an American comic strip created by cartoonist Billy DeBeck. Since its debut on June 17, 1919, the strip has gained a huge international readership, appearing in 900 newspapers in 21 countries. The initial appeal of the strip led to its adaptation to film, animation, popular song and television. It added several terms and phrases to the English language and inspired the 1923 hit tune "Barney Google (with the Goo-Goo-Googly Eyes)" with lyrics by Billy Rose, as well as the 1923 record, "Come On, Spark Plug!" Kanan Debi - অঙ্গনে আয়ব যব রসিয়া [Aṅganē Āẏaba Yaba Rasiẏā] / সজল নয়ান করি পিয়া পথ হেরি হেরি [Sajala Naẏāna Kari Piẏā Patha Hēri Hēri]
50 labels issuing 10 new records a month for 80 years would approach half a million issues. So far 45worlds has 202 Indian 78 releases. It will probably take a while to validate or void the half a million estimation and I look forward to some interesting surprises along the way.

Note that this issue has the words "Bengali version" on the label. There are several different languages spoken in modern India, and it's likely that some popular tunes would be translated and issued for these different linguistic groups. This may be another factor helping to achieve that half a million figure.

Here's a page from The Society of Indian Record Collectors which estimates that there were about half a million records issued. The linked page laments that so much data may be lost or overlooked and gives a history of the recording industry in India, along with some interesting historical scans.

Perhaps, thanks to the efforts of xiphophilos, Grondzero and others, who take the time and trouble to enter the non-Latin text portions from the labels and sleeves, some Indian record collectors might find 45worlds, join the efforts here, and enrich the data with interesting additions from their own collections.

Three cheers!

Johnny Mercer, Jo Stafford And The Pied Pipers - Candy / I'm Gonna See My Baby (1945)
Four days later, still entering from the same pile of 78s, I came across a duplicate upon which neither side has a dotted "i" in the Capitol logo. Scan uploaded. Possibly they dropped the dot and removed part of the illustration for legibility.

Gitaar Berboenji was included in a 2003 compilation called "Steeling Round The World".

Here's a video for Terang Boelan, which unfortunately ends before the song does. The youtube uploader says the UK Columbia release was 1938.

Here's a scan which might be the UK Columbia label.

FWIW, Google translate auto-detects "Ternjanji oleh" as in the Malay language, but does equally well (or poorly) translating it as Sundanese.

[Unknown] - 高野山御詠歌 (第二番) / 高野山御詠歌 (第三番)
So this record may have been pressed by the same outfit which later gave us Godzilla. Interesting.

Machine translations rely somewhat on context, as in a continuous narrative. When we feed random phrases and a bunch of proper names into one, we often get gibberish in return.

Johnny Mercer, Jo Stafford And The Pied Pipers - Candy / I'm Gonna See My Baby (1945)
Sometimes the Capitol logo has no dot over the "i". Capitol vs. Capıtol. The A Side on my copy is "dotless". It seems that Capitol dropped the dot in early 1944, although 45worlds has a few scans showing from 1943 without the dot. I wonder if those 1943 dotless labels represent re-issues.
