fixbutte 19th Feb 2014		Chess 1425 was the first-ever Chess record. However, not the vocal "Bless You" was the A-side but the instrumental "My Foolish Heart", recorded some months later and thus with the higher matrix number. It also became a Top Ten R&B hit in July/August 1950 and the label's biggest hit of the year, see The Chess Label Part I (1950-1952).
