ppint. 28th Sep 2024		the berkley publishing group berkley medallion mmpb first printing, first p/b edition cover art by herbert norton rogoff (signed, uncredited) cover price 75¢ 192 pp. including 4 unnumbered pages titles, indicia etc. refer also to indicia publishing history to distinguish from the undated near-identical third printing° which differs: adds line stating third printing° ° - this statement may have been erroneous, whether through the expected or actual appearance of a near-identical second printing, or the presumption of the existence of a canadian-carcased variant first printing, later accounted the second - or simple publishing office/printer's mistake; the berkley medallion 11/1975 mmpb cat# Z2997, q.v., bearing new cover art by richard powers is also stated to be the third berkley medallion mmpb in its indicia
