ppint. 27th Sep 2022		n.b. harpercollins/harpercollinspublishers/harpercollinstrophy/etc, etc. also used another painting by cliff nielsen, initially upon boxed sets of their merkin p/b narnia series boxed sets and single volume omnibus editions, and on the ''the lion, the witch and the wardrobe'' p/bs the sets contain, and later upon other editions of this novel including large-print editions: it is of the lion, aslan's full face including his mane, front on, and it is predominantly a golden(ish) brown in colour: & first use of which yr hmbl srppnt. currently knows being upon harpercollinspublishers merkin omnibus edition of ''the chronicles of narnia'' (10/2001), q.v. - it's clearly completely different from the painting used upon these paperbacks.
