Magic Marmalade 26th May 2017		Jeepers! That's more than some classic album first presses go for. ...And this is, let's face it, not a very good album, at least I think so. (Only just noticed the spelling of Kurt Cobain's name on the composer credits too... as given on the back cover).



gregs45s SUBS 26th May 2017		@MM.Well yes,but not quite as rare as i thought,the first Tupelo (1989) UK CD's are going for £20-30 (Discogs Median is £18.64)(i might treat myself at that price;),and the 1990 Sub Pop's only average at about a fiver each,it's the first press of the US white vinyl album SP 34,that's most in demand ,there's one on e-bay at £350 at the mo,and Discogs Median is £407.57,gulp! :)

gregs45s SUBS 26th May 2017		@MM."Bleach" their first album (released first on CD by Tupelo (licensed to Sub Pop) in 1989 in the UK,and by Sub Pop in 1990 in the US) wasn't a commercial success,it wasn't until they hit the big time with "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from their second album (Nevermind 1991),that "Bleach"was given another worldwide re-issue in 1992 (of which,this is one).



Magic Marmalade 25th May 2017		Saw the 1989 date on it, and wondered if this was an original or reissue.
