I don't remember hearing "It's Good For The Soul" back in '76, or if I did hear it the song never sank in. It didn't do too well on the "Blues & Soul" chart either, peaking at a measly #59. It can be seen at #79 in the chart for "B&S 202"

Presumably Atlantic/Cotillion didn't release the "Luther" LP in The UK back in '76?

It’s a pity that nobody mentioned that the original US issued LP album with the same title was released in June 1976. 44 Years ago!!
I’ve long since championed track 7. It's Good For The Soul (Parts I And II), released in UK as a two-part 45, and it stiffed…..
