If you submitted Australian made cd's that are in that much hated section I will gladly split things up for you. In some cases extra scans will be needed after splitting though. Just PM me. A rough guess at my progress on worlds (45's finished) vinyl 10%, cd's 15%. I'll keep the goodies coming!

Only dozed away for two hours. Lee, I'm fully aware that this was "released" world wide, as are most cds in this day and age, but together we're trying to build something that works. Having some records of the Rhino label that were manufactured in the EU listed as International and others not, depending on if a record company decided to issue it also in Canada or Australia doesn't help making a usable catalog.We also have OAS made in the USA. You can't tell from the tin in which countries a cd was issued.....

Also the used inner card differs. The earlier added Made in Australia one (advertising 5 EC albums) must be from a later date (Imagine was issued in 2002). CD image looks exactly the same.

Didn't look yet at formatting of cat numbers and barcodes. Fun to work this way and nice to look at, but very time consuming....

leonard ● 23rd Aug 2018		CD Album Agnetha And Frida - The Voice Of ABBA (1994)	For what it's worth: we have one Spectrum Music label here on the website divided in two countries (UK and Europe), where I feel they they all should be the same. I had a look at both, and although having a very good memory and having owned one of the bigger selling cd shops in Holland only a few of the covers look familiar. And I guess the same goes for France and Germany. Country of manufacture as stated on the label, French price codes, German label codes, Dutch rights organisation and parent company, all those "indicators" don't say a thing really. The only thing I know for sure is the Label name and that the UK is a part of Europe. MERGE

Lee, the one you're referring to on discogs is a HDCD so I wonder if the date for that issue is correct. I got these when they were first issued and I imported a lot of cd's for my shop from the US (cheaper!!) so it's even possible it came from there. There is a vague rememberance of a long box for this one, but I'm not really sure. Trade magazines, ICE newsletter and other publications maybe will sort this out in the future. In the meantime I think this is listed correctly as it is.

There's no denying this is a European product that was exported to Australia. It's not so hard putting the Australian release date in the notes. On the other hand I'm quite in favor of having a seperate entry for Australian made cd's that have same cat# and barcode as their European counterparts..

Also we now have a complete set where the colors of booklet and back are the same 2. Added songwriters (easy) 3. Year of release is way before 1990 on this particular pressing. 4. By not entering other scans or other info it's not easy to determine a correct date/sequence. I hesitated if mine was the same as you entered. Thank you
leonard ● 9th Aug 2018		CD Album Connie Francis - Stupid Cupid (2008)	This one 6187912 has also a Monada imprint on the cd and when I look any further this is associated with the Netherlands. I think Europe is the safest bet until anyone claims to own the label........

Are we supposed to know which cat# to use when there is 1001-2 on the label, 61001-2 and 253 002 on the spine and on top of that 19319-2 and 250 841 on the back and on the booklet. Oh yes and on the ring is also a PDO number 2893 022.
