Same for the Italian one. Putting too many eggs in one basket causes all the problems in my opinion.

Before rearranging they were here as European, UK, Australian and US and under diffrent label names. I think the company in this case is a UK one, they have MCPS as rights company, the barcode starts with 50, so a listing under UK is fine with me.

Yes, I make many corrections on items that are entered wrong. Yes, I delete labels and items that are entered twice or more. Yes, I approve and rearrange images when another member submits better images and asks for correction. I do that all for the benifit of this website. In this specific case my changes are logical and correct.

We have (81.8.12) boxed with 93.12.12 --- the first is presumably the issue date of the vinyl album and the second the reissue date on cd. But there is also 95.12.11 with a 1,800 Yen price. Does that mean it can be sold until that time (exactly 2 years after other date) for said amount or was it rereleased on that date for a cheaper price? Think I got this in 95.

I truly believe the international category is confusing and causing items to be added again and again. We must try to make the best out of it and the way you describe it comes pretty close to my thoughts. And that's not even the greatest problem on the database: what do you think of having the UK as a part of Europe, of creating a myriad of labels: Sony, Sony Music, Sony BMG, Sony BMG international, Sony BMG / Columbia for the same thing. There's lots and lots of work to be done.

Going on this way keeps the catalogue in order and will prevent others from adding it again as a European issue. In the long term we might get rid of the dreaded International category all together. Manufactured in Australia ----> Australian entry Manufactured in EEC and also released in Australia -----> European entry Manufactured in USA and also released in Australia -----> USA entry

This will make it possible to get rid of the dreaded International category. There are minor differences in the cat format on the disc too!

If made International It will be added again and again as being American, because it's missing in the LaFace US discography or being added as Canadian (because that's what's on the tin).
