leonard ● 12th Aug 2017		CD Album The Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues (1995)	BEL = Bureau for European Licensing (since 1995). Cooperation between GEMA (Germany), MCPS (UK) and SDRM (France) and probably others. This cd can't be from 1990 for this reason.

Asking questions, making apologies and asking if you wanted to put it up (some people are crazy bout credits). You said you didn't want to do it, so I did. What's all the fuzz about?

leonard ● 7th Aug 2017		CD Album Bob Dylan - Tempest (2012)	@apollo. I've added the images for this cd. Mine was in the special edition package which I entered with it's own barcode and cat#. Is yours also from this package (in which case I assume both entries have to be merged because they belong together), because there is already another European entry for the regular cd.

Avoiding this category like the plague.... when the first of the bootleg series was released we had a big Dylan action in the shop. Gave away hundreds of promos, had a subscription with a free T shirt etc. The Materpieces cd was one we had also on offer, I even think it was a cheapie. For me this release is in it's rightful place. I clicked I Own and changed the thumbnail for my list. If I wanted I could also make a note. SLowly but surely the International category will fade out I hope. Next thing to attack is the Sony and Universal label avalanche.

leonard ● 6th Aug 2017		CD Album Bob Dylan - Masterpieces (1991)	@leewrecker Lee, I need your help! I've got this set with the same cat# and barcode. But a different front and booklet layout. Also the cd's have a different layout and carry a labelcode LC 0199, but are also made in Australia. On the front are two stickers 1. Specially remastered 2. Dylan Originals - 30 Years On Columbia. I remember selling these cd's in my shop. I think these were exported for use on the European market, but wouldn't make this release "International". Do you (or anybody else) know more about this release? Will add images here.

leonard ● 3rd Aug 2017		CD Album Johnny Dowd - Pictures From Life's Other Side (1999)	When I was entering this item I played it again, and like you, every time I hear this album it grabs me. I always like it when music and texts have raw edges, it keeps you wondering what's coming next.

Also like the mysterious appearing of one Ron Tepper in the songwriting credits for In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida I see also that Van Morrison lost half of his royalties for Astal Weeks. Think he won't be too pleased and who the .. is Larry Fallon?

leonard ● 31st Jul 2017		CD Album Various Artists - A Right Royal Knees-Up (2011)	I've changed the label from EMI to News Of The World. This "label" is listed as Europe. I've always thought it was an UK Newspaper that was closed in 2011. GIven date of 2012 therefore is wrong. (Should be 10 april 2011).
leonard ● 31st Jul 2017		CD Album Various Artists - Phil's Spectre III – A Third Wall Of Soundalikes (2007)	I can't see Phil Spectors name on this, only in the writer credits and those are correct. I only see an album called Phil's Spectre and knowing what spectre means I think it's a good find. Funny people those English speakers: Potatoes and tomatoes, writing strEEt, pronouncing it strIEt, but just meaning strAAt . Remember in the USA you where only a couple of votes away from choosing Dutch as main language. Luckily for music that didn't occur.

Made in Australia, Made in Germany, French price codes, German labelcodes, American companies. All those things aren't a clear indication how to file this item. I sold masses of this in my shop in Holland. Any "system" we use will have its flaws. So use brains whenever needed. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a duck!
