YankeeDisc SUBS 2nd Oct 2021		*Demetrius And The Gladiators* - movie trailers ....Victor Mature in all his pomp. The first trailer with on screen titles mentions 'CinemaScope' and STEREOPHONIC SOUND'. I was not aware the stereo sound was available in 1954..... and the voice-over sounds very like Robert Taylor, film star....

YankeeDisc SUBS 14th Apr 2016		.....get a toga and sandals out (Jesus boots) and I'm there, Man....... These films are just so high camp, I wonder how anyone kept a straight face...... Utterly, utterly recommended.....



George Slv 6th Jan 2016		Rated 8/10 Good entertainment. I saw it in a double bill ~1960 with The Robe, which was the first part of the story. The Robe was really great drama, while this went more into gladiator adventure. Must have been one of the main inspirations for the 2000 Gladiator, which turned out more of a downer than adventure. 4 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
