Live Music
Notes Concert hosted by DJ Bill Randle and filmed as "The Pied Piper of Cleveland" (Brooklyn being a suburb of Cleveland). Despite featuring the earliest concert footage of Elvis (who was still recording for Sun Records), the film was never officially released although excerpts were shown locally in the 1950s. According to scottymoore.net (Scotty having been Elvis' guitar player), Brooklyn High School won a contest to host the concert. Many performers associated with the concert, including Pat Boone and Bill Haley's Original Comets, reunited in October 2005 for a concert marking the 50th anniversary of the event.
