Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Patch (1967)	Back in the late 60s, you could not get skilled machinist for love or money, so had no choice but to go automated as with a lot of to-days manufacturing. What will happen when everything is automated and no one has jobs, who will have money to pay for the goods, don’t think the profit makers (where’s my bonus) thought of that. Ref: Sgt. Pepper patch, after the logo has been embroidered, the fabric is then over locked on an overlocking machine which cuts and stitches the circle to give the finish patch.

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Patch (1967)	@Magic Marmalade, I thought I added this video , obviously not, hope this helps explain how badges are embroidered, large quantities like the Beatle badge, would be done using a large portal frame in stead of the single head frames in video. All computerised, once frames loaded in machine, press button and walk away till finished. [YouTube Video]

Looks like it’s not a auto trim and has no heat seal backing, so could be original or late 60s early 70s
