kab2112 SUBS 9th Apr 2023		Music Memorabilia Various Artists - 20 Page Booklet Hollywood Music Festival (1970)	The magazine advert for this festival lists the artists due to appear and the cost for the two day event (50/-) which is £2.50p in decimal currency as it became to be known. That works out at £1.25p for each day. You would get about a half hour parking for that these days.

He was excellent at harmonising with other singers, especially Graham Nash. They were great buddies for years, but sadly had a big falling out. He was excellent here with CSNY.

He was excellent live, and this was tour to promote what I consider to be his best album. I saw him twice on this tour, bought the programme but don't seem to have it any more.

kab2112 SUBS 3rd Jul 2020		Music Memorabilia Bath Festival Of Blues And Progressive Music - 52 Page Booklet (1970)	There were four of us going to this gig, I was the only driver. I managed a betting shop in those days and getting time off at Bank Holiday weekends was nearly impossible. We left Caernarfon about 8pm on the Saturday night to travel down what would be nearly all single lane A and B roads in those days. After spending the day in the concert area, we travelled back overnight, giving just enought time for a shower and change of clotihng before opening the shop on the Bank Holiday Monday at 9am. Another busy bank holiday day.at work Does anyone remember Pro-Plus???. These were legal pep pills sold in chemists and I had one or three of these to keep me awake. Couldn't even blink according to my wife who was with me. The two guys that were with us sadly passed a few years ago.

kab2112 SUBS 30th Dec 2018		Music Memorabilia Various Artists - Guide To 2018's Best Albums (2018)	Picked this up in HMV Blackpool the other day while buying some CDs. Heard the announcement later that they had gone into administration. Another one bites the dust. Other than a few independents or charity shops, soon there will be nowhere to browse through CDs etc. It will be mostly on-line which just isn't the same thing. "Walk in retail" is going down the tubes.
