Not to be confused with the 1961 BBC series under the same name, though the name was the same as was the star, Tony Hancock, the contrasts between the two series could not be wider. Here was Hancock without Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, using a variety of writers for a commercial TV show that unfortunately showed a talent in terminal decline.

Just the one series of 13 episodes were made. They all still exist and are owned by the Hancock estate.
