Jack The Ripper [1988] (1988)
Fun fact Jack The Ripper was produced for television by Thames Television, but they had the hindsight to shoot on film (35mm I think); this means the Blu-Ray looks incredible and was perfect for remastering. I've seen made for TV films that were produced 20 years later and look shocking due to them being shot on video or studio VT cams.

Little Britain (2003 - 2006)
As a bit of trivia Little Britain has been re-added to iPlayer and BritBox, but both the Ting Tong character from Series 3 and Desiree DeVere have been removed. The first episode runs nearly 5 minutes shorter than the DVD.

Shuten Douji (1996)
@mikewn I see. I think I linked one episode by mistake as that was the last one I rated on imdb. I think it is the same I wonder if year 1996 is the year of first USA VHS release? Series seems to have run from 1989-1991 and it is an OVA. It's also very mediocre.

Ideal would be to combine them with you cast and the amended dates? My title screen is from the DVD with Japanese title.

Have I Got News For You (1990 - Now)
I've not watched this for Donkey's. Pretty much a battle of egos between Merton and Hislop every week with naff token guests and occasionally a comedian. The first episode had Peter Cook and Douglas Adams as guests how do you top that? Angus Deayton might rub people the wrong way, but you can't fault his timing easy to see Hislop and Merton getting jealous when he got bigger laughs. You could see the show losing its bite in the early 00s with the constant John Prescott is fat jokes or when a politician came on the show and they sucked up to them.

I had no idea this was on BBC 1. Must have taken The Neighbours slot.

Dad (1997 - 1999)
This was originally a BBC1 series. It seems to have disappeared off the planet since, surprisingly it has an Australian DVD release.

Thanks for the info Quad5point1. I wrongly assumed it would be about Jeremy Thorpe again despite the series coming to a neat conclusion.

I could be wrong, but title screen seems to be in the studio rather than a traditional graphic.

I agree with Shakyfan. It seems more like a chat show than a game show now. I like Frank Skinner as a comedian and he's had some great guests on, but it is dull.

Catchphrase (1986 - Now)
Saw the show recently with Stephen Mulhern, it's pretty good. The format is fairly repetitive and boring so it must be hard to make it interesting. Roy Walker is still the king of Catchphrase for me though.
