My Canadian copy came in a US cover. There are some inconsistencies:
A2 composer Boone on back cover is Testa on the label
A3 composer T. Marquez on back cover is A. Marquez on the label
A4 composer Fermata on back cover is Du Fermata on the label
A5 composer T. Enriquez on back cover is T. Henriquez on the label
With the same cat# as the MONO version from the US I must assume this copy is the same.

Per wikipedia,the first recorded version was by Bonnie Dobson in 1960. Other pre-Lightfoot versions were recorded by Joe and Eddie in 1963, and The Chad Mitchell Trio in 1964.
