23skidoo 2nd Aug 2022		Vinyl Album Bob And Doug McKenzie - The Great White North (1981)	As mentioned in a comment for the US pressing, there is an unlabelled track on Side 2 which is just one of the actors saying the word "black hole" (as a followup to the earlier skit). Not sure where in the sequence it is. The US listing also includes a B10 track, Honest, which is said not to be listed either...

23skidoo 10th Apr 2022		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Ten Golden Years: Great Motion Picture Themes And Original Soundtracks (1968)	With respect to the original uploader, I have copied over the sleeve front image from the US edition as it is identical to Canadian pressing. The big difference is the label is black and white and uses the older United Artists logo, even though the sleeve (and the US label) uses the updated logo. There is precedent for this: when Decca Records US adopted a new label style in 1959, Decca Canada stuck with the older design for another 6 or 7 years.

(1992)	Extended version of the original soundtrack album released by United Artists Records in 1967 (q.v.) and reissued in 1987 by Silva Screen. Tracks B6-B9 were originally omitted from the soundtrack and instead issued on a standalone EP. I don't know if it's proper to link this with the 1967 release as it's a new edition with extra tracks.

Track A5 ("Thunderbirds (Reprise)") sounds like a demo arrangement for the Shadows version of the theme.
23skidoo 4th Apr 2022		Vinyl Album David Lloyd And His London Orchestra - Confidential (1965)	A promo single from this album (q.v.) was dated 1965, so presumably this album came out then. As noted, most of the tracks are tunes inspired by the Fleming novels, in some cases predating the movie themes by decades! Check out the one song actually credited to "James (Jimmy) Bond". I assume that's a pseudonym!
23skidoo 3rd Apr 2022		Vinyl Album Bill Haley And The Comets - The Golden King Of Rock (1972)	@zabadak - After a long long delay in replying, if you are still interested in this info, although they have yet to be indexed here, Discogs has the two original albums showing their original track order. Discography research on Haley indicates these are the complete shows - recorded in a studio for an invited audience - as no additional performances are known to exist from this set (in contrast to the 1969 New York Bitter End and 1974 London Hammersmith Palais live albums which were mere excerpts). The two original configurations can be found here and here. Hopefully someone will index the albums here too eventually (with fewer title typos).
23skidoo 22nd Mar 2022		Vinyl Album Various Artists - You're A Hook (1983)	I don't know if anyone can answer this unless they have both albums, but the rear sleeve says the Anderson track was recorded at the Nova Convention in 1977 - however the Giorno album release titled The Nova Convention, which came out in 1979, was said to have been recorded in late 1978 (and at least 2 tracks on this compilation come from that record). Anderson performs "Song from America on the Move" on the 1978 recording as well. As far as I'm aware there was only one Nova Convention event so I'm curious (as an Anderson fan) whether the recording here is another performance or the sleeve notes are in error and it was recorded in December 1978 with the Smith and Zappa tracks. Edit: With acknowledgement to the original indexer, I was able to determine thanks to the track being posted to Youtube that it's an edited-down version of the Nova Convention recording (the original segued into a vocal performance by Julia Heywood which is omitted here). So the liner notes appear to be in error in terms of dating Anderson's recording to 1977.

Other sources like Discogs and Wilson's biography at Wikipedia say this album came out in 1976. Maybe there's information available via Billboard, etc. This being Wilson's final album of new material (I believe), it's probably good to confirm.

It had been recorded in 1959 (possibly the last vocal Haley recorded for Decca in the 1950s before concentrating on instrumentals for the rest of his contract) but put on the shelf until this issue.

23skidoo 25th Jul 2021		Vinyl Album Sam Butera - The Big Sax And The Big Voice Of Sam Butera (1961)	"Skinny Minny" is actually a cover of Bill Haley's Skinny Minnie, but for some reason the songwriting credit is incorrect; should be Bill Haley, Arrett "Rusty" Keefer, Milt Gabler, Catherine Cafra. EDIT: I just confirmed that the songwriting credit is actually for a song called "Skinny Minnie (Fish Tail)" from 1954, a completely different song. Yet they never corrected it for Butera!

PS: The version of Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley is the original 1954 recording, not the 1973 version recorded for the TV show.
