Simon And Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970)
After fifty years, finally got time to sit and listen to my records, not that many but got to listen to this one and Beatles white album which I was disappointed with but not with this one, great tracks that stand the test of time, The Boxer being my favourite.

The Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] (1968)
Finally found time to sit and listen to whole album today, the last time must be over fifty years ago. What is Revolution 9 all about (drink and drugs) or ran out of decent tracks to fill the space.

The Who - The Who Sell Out (1967)
Listening to this again l can clearly hear “I’m an ear sitting in the sky “ though I always heard what was on the title “Armenia City In The Sky “ till yesterday.
Anyone else heard the same.

The Who - The Who Sell Out (1967)
SkyArt had this album on yesterday, funny finding out that track1 title by Keene a friend of Pete Townshend should be “I’m an ear sitting in the sky” as Keene sang on the track, not “Armenia City In The Sky” which Pete thought was better. A good documentary on the album if you got the time.

Wally Stott - There's No Business Like Show Business
Going by the notes on back cover “29 year old born 10th March 1924” this would make this recording 1953/4 more likely 1954 judging by receipt.

I knew Wally Stott but did not know about his early years, thanks to the info on back cover.

The Norman Luboff Choir - Grand Tour (1962)
“Little kong Kwela” is credited to South Africa on the back cover.

'Mashikiza' Is credited as composer on the Stereo version? And Luboff on the mono. I’m guessing it’s for arrangements but what Mashikiza doing on the Stereo, to late to ask Norman who passed away 1987 same year as my mum who he signed the album to.

I have only the A side Stereo which sounds fine, not much between S/M on the H.B.B. track. Can’t say how much difference between vinyl Stereo and acetate Stereo.

The Who - My Generation (1980)
Update from my cousin, " The early sixties (1964) I worked in an engineering company in South Acton as an office junior. I think the company was called Surgical equipment supplies. Roger worked as a tea boy first off always singing, around the factory.
My friend and I use to go to a pub in Greenford and watch them play live when they were just starting out. We were asked to start a fan club in those early days, one of my biggest regrets that I did not."

Goldhawk Social Club, Shepherds Bush, more the Chiswick/Acton end of Goldhawk Road near to Ravenscourt Park, and not far from their homes. Once saw them coming out of a paper shop in Turnham Green back around 1965.
