I think I bought my copy, with tan labels, just after Elvis died in 1977, and I never noticed the Harvey name before! I take that to be the name of the cover artist, but whether this is the same Harvey (full name Harvey Williams) who did the album covers for Savoy Records is anyone's guess! I'm not too sure when Australia switched from the orange labels to the tan labels, but I think the tan ones were already in use in the USA by 1975.
Hi Lee - I will send a correction. The next Elvis album I entered (purchased December 1977) had the tan labels so I'm guessing that RCA changed to that label design sometime in 1977 or late 1976 - maybe PhilMH will know.
Hey Jasper, your cover looks great and as you say your orange RCA labels are from the original release and should be shuffled in front of my late 70's-early 80's tan labels. This one is looking pretty good now as an entry. Have you sent a correction? If you haven't, you should because the cover shot needs to change and labels need to be moved.
Added better quality front cover (without the laminate folds) and original label images - my copy purchased 5th June 1976. Acknowledging Lee Wrecker for the original entry.
