COLONIALTRADNG CO LTD release
MGM label

Colonial Trading Co Ltd, an EMI offshoot, would appear to be the original MGM distributor in Hong Kong. Release sheets and correspondence of the period confirm that a grand portion of Connie's MGM catalog from the USA was locally manufactured in the area. In common with most EMI companies, Colonial Trading Co issued separate mono and stereo pressings. Several albums, believe to be of Hong Kong origin and Colonial Trading Co pressings, have a BROWN & SILVER label. It would appear that all of these album covers were identical to the letter with their USA counterparts. These have been so identified with the following entries. Only positively identified HONG KONG pressings meeting this criteria have been included in this section of her catalog,
