New Order - Blue Monday (1983)
Bought this one when it came out and I'm pretty sure it was regular price (not import) so I'm assuming it is Australian. I have Australian Factory releases of Joy Division's "Transmission" and "Love Will Tear Us Apart" that copy the U.K. catalogue numbers so is there any real way of telling? The sleeve (see photo) is not the heavy duty card of early U.K. pressings and definitely resembles the flimsy replicas we're accustomed to over here.

The Convertibles - Rock My Bones (1988)
A great reminder of the 80's rockabilly revival, these guys really could rock and Rock My Bones is a classic graveyard stomp.

The Saints - Paralytic Tonight Dublin Tomorrow (1980)
The version of Miss Wonderful is much rockier and better than the one on "Monkey Puzzle". The other songs are the same as the 7" single/ep release. Added cover and back cover shots.

The Pogues - Poguetry In Motion (1986)
Track B1 title and composer mixed up.

The Troggs - The Troggs (1984)
Arguably the best and worst of The Troggs on one 12" single. The A side is great but the Troggs Tapes are really only a once in lifetime experience.

Stray Cats - Stray Cat Strut (1983)
I prefer the label on the linked UK release.

Alexei Sayle - 'Ullo John! Gotta New Motor? Pt. III (1982)
Took the liberty of editing the images here but only used the highest quality marker pen and full strength communist cardboard.

The Clash - London Calling (1980)
Don't know whether this one ever came in a picture sleeve in Australia or not. Anyone got one?

Graham Parker And The Rumour - The Pink Parker (1978)
The cover has been in the wars but the vinyl really is a bright shocking pink but won't scan, it just turns out opaque looking, any clues on scanning coloured vinyl anyone?

The Rolling Stones - Miss You (1978)
Hey Mods

Saw this in the for editing section, looked at it and thought it would be quicker and better to knock out new scans of mine, so here they are.

Hope you like them

Echo And The Bunnymen - The Cutter (1983)
The live version of Zimbo is my favourite of the zillions of recordings the Bunnies did of the song.

Nina Hagen Band - Nina Hagen Band (1980)
This copy of this release is sobering reminder of the police state that was Queensland, Australia in the late 70's and early 80's. The references to Columbia (the USA label) have been blacked out by the importer (most likely Rocking Horse Records) to avoid it being seized in a raid by the Special Branch of the police as an illegal import or subversive material and destroyed. During this period imported records were often disguised as local releases or second hand to avoid confiscation. These raids were frequent in Brisbane around this time and Rocking Horse Records, Rotten Records and perhaps even Kent records lost a fair bit of stock to the police. So, while this may seem like a vandalised copy there are reasons for the blemishes. Task force how we love you!

New York Dolls - New York Dolls (1982)
Studio recordings made in October 1972 at Escape Studios, Smarden, Kent but with a distinctly live feel and lot more energy than the versions of these songs on their first album. Re-released in 1990 on See For Miles Records as a 12" (linked below) and CD single.

Johnny Thunders And The Heartbreakers - Let Go (1983)
Pity the cover is damaged by mould but this is my third stitch and a pretty good result all round. If anyone has a cleaner copy feel free to replace/edit mine but at least we have a picture till then. Didn't know Johnny was born to "loose", check out the typo.

Johnny Thunders And The Heartbreakers - Let Go (1983)
Just migrated here from 45cat and this is my first entry on this site. I will upload label scans soon, however, it looks like cover shots are going to pose some problems any advice for a novice? And by the way when did the image size go up from 7 to 800, never mind that's easy to adjust to.
