mlgh224 SUBS 12th Nov 2016		12" Single Undisputed Truth - Disco Special Cut (1977)	As I recall WEA released this as a 12" (along with a Boney M 12") a few months later. Indeed, Music Master has it down as January 1977.
mlgh224 SUBS 8th Nov 2016		12" Single Joy Division - The Peel Session (26th November 1979) (1987)	Added set of sleeve and label variations from early issue. On the first issue some of the other releases are also available on Chrome cassette whereas on the later sleeve some of the other releases are also available on CD. This was the first of the SFPSs with a gold sleeve, released in September 1987, twenty years after the launch of Radio One (30 September 1967).

mlgh224 SUBS 17th Jun 2016		12" Single Stray Cats - Stray Cat Strut (1983)	"Apart from what it says on the labels, do we have any evidence that this 12" of a 1981 single was released in 1983?" Music Master British Pop Singles 1974-1985 (Singles Catalogue 1st edtion) lists the 7" as released April 1981, and again in May 1983. The 12" release is given as March 1983. However the 1990 edition (Singles Catalogue 3rd Edition) lists both 7" and 12" as April 1981 with no mention of the later issue.

mlgh224 SUBS 10th Apr 2014		12" Single Jah Wobble, Jaki Liebezeit, Holger Czukay - How Much Are They (1981)	Record came in a printed card die-cut sleeve. Not sure if the sleeve was specific to this record, or an Island 12" sleeve. The sleeve is identical on both sides except for the ruler scale which is geen on one side and red on the other. This German release looks to be the same recordings although the artist credits are in a different order.

mlgh224 SUBS 30th Nov 2013		12" Single The Selecter - Train To Skaville (1980)	The 7" of this ( CHS S1 ) has "The Whisper" as the A side. The font used on the sleeve and labels here are the same as on the 7" which would suggest that the cat# is CHS 12 S1. This would match the 7" , but in the run out grooves it is definitely CHS 1251. I don't own the 7" so can't check the run out of that.

mlgh224 SUBS 2nd Nov 2013		12" Single Various Artists - Plundering The Archives Consignment No.1 (1980)	Sleeve scans added (which support the info in 'Notes'). It's a shame they didn't get any more out as this is a good one. The labels would suggest that the Record Title should be "Dance Whatcha Wanna". In Music Master there is an entry for "Donnie Elbert - A Little Piece Of Leather" Island WIP6599 (a 7") with a release date of April 1980. I've never seen one and it's not on 45cat. [YouTube Video]
mlgh224 SUBS 2nd Nov 2013		12" Single Cabaret Voltaire - Three Mantras (1980)	This is one that might raise a few eyebrows in the " Is it a 12" single?" debate. Plays at 33 and runs for over 40 mins. It's on my 12" shelf though and was marketed and priced as a 12". Perhaps put a copy on VA world.

I don't remember noticing this before but I've just uploaded a set of images for The Cramps - Gravest Hits 12" and it appears on the label for that as well.
