mojofilter 18th Jun 2022		12" Single Paul Young - I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down (Special Extended Mix) (1985)	Although it may look like someone finally spelled the composer's surname correctly on "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down," the listing is wrong on the record. His name was Earl Randle, a well-known, well-regarded and often-covered songwriter from Memphis.
mojofilter 11th Jun 2022		12" Single Wings - Goodnight Tonight (1979)	In the book "Paul McCartney: Recording Sessions 1969-2013" by Luca Perasi, the author describes how Paul announced to Wings that one of them was going to write the B-side of this record over a weekend. They'd introduce their song on Monday. So each member went away to write the B-side and on Monday, "Daytime Nightime Suffering" was what Paul submitted. History has not recorded what anyone else brought to the table, but this beat all of them, hands down.
mojofilter 2nd Jun 2022		12" Single Wings - Maybe I'm Amazed (Mono) (Short Version) (2013)	I'm replying to a comment from 2013, to say that the purpose of this 12" single was to make available in a limited edition the promo edited versions in mono and stereo, the promo mono unedited version, and the stereo stock single unedited version. It is doubtful that any radio station has aired the promo versions since 1977, you could never buy them in any store at the time, and the single has been out of print for at least 35 years as of this writing. This means that there are as-yet unreleased digital remasters of these tracks that could still come out on CD or as digital downloads.

(1989)	This Italian issue was imported by Capitol of Canada and stickered with an ID tag giving it the Canadian catalogue number of C1 15499, as by the time this record came out, their vinyl plant in Mississauga was closed down for good.

mojofilter 13th Jan 2015		12" Single Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead (1979)	According to information I read somewhere and entered in its listing in my database, this record exists in versions with and without "Dark Entries" on side 2 following "Boys." Mine has it, and I've never seen another copy to check or find out how to distinguish between them. Does anyone here have a copy with only two songs on the disc? There may be a clue in the dead wax area for the B-side. There would have to have been two different stampers cut. You'd think one of them would have some sort of identifying mark different from the other one.

mojofilter 28th Dec 2014		12" Single Paul McCartney - Press (1986)	This record features the first mixes of "Press" by Hugh Padgham. These were phased out and replaced by new remixes by Bevans and Forward, which became the standard mixes in Paul's catalogue.

mojofilter 3rd May 2014		12" Single Tim Curry - I Do The Rock (1979)	There is a listing here for a 7" single of "Paradise Garage" b/w "Charge It" in the remixed / edited versions that appear on this 12", issued in Germany on A&M AMS 7655. But I can find no evidence that such a single was released in the US, or anywhere else for that matter. If the Discogs listing is correct, the German 12" of "Paradise Garage" b/w "Charge It" on AMS 12.7655 contains the album versions.
