This MAXI-EP was recorded due to the fact that Kim Larsen owed CBS a recording before he got a new contract with Medley, where he shortly after leaving CBS recorded the famous 'Midt Om Natten' Soundtrack. The '5 Eiffel' title referred to the old cigaret label 'Eiffel' being sold in a 5 piece cigaret pack.
