vidman45 19th Jan 2013 | | 12" SingleJohn Lennon - Plastic Ono Band (1981) | Beatle fans - Help! What country is this from? Or is it a bootleg? I bought it in the U.S. in a major record chain shop. One person told me it might be from Italy, but certain numbers look more like a German issue. This 12" Maxi Single sounds just like the 45, and the dead was/ lead-out area is larger than the recorded portion of the disc.

vidman45 13th Jan 2013 | | 12" SingleSacco - Theme From "People" (Part 1) (1978) | Henry, Thanks for the link. I had forgotten that I downloaded that "gray" box set last year. I don't know how much research these folks put into it, but they must have believed that it was Lou also. No liner notes were included with the downloads. Lou may have been contracted to another record company when this was released, and had to use the alias of Sacco.

vidman45 9th Jan 2013 | | 12" SingleSacco - Theme From "People" (Part 1) (1978) | I have just added my first 12" Single disc. The artist is shown as "Sacco", but I strongly suspect that it is Lou Christie. Lou's real last name is Sacco, and this sounds just like him.
Can anyone confirm or deny my suspicions? This 12" single plays at 33 1/3 RPM. Lifesong also issued a 7" 45 edition (ZS8-1775) which is not yet listed at 45Cat. If we can confirm that this was in fact Lou Christie, I'd like to see it added or linked to his discography.
