mister_tmg 7th Jan 2019		Henry29, your link doesn’t work now. I guess this was the first multi-format #1 then? In the 50s there were singles on 45 and 78, and Mungo Jerry had two 45 formats. But 12” singles gave people a reason to buy both formats, for different tracks, in a way which doesn’t really apply to the earlier releases. Those were issued at different speeds for the record player you had.
