 I'll check my collection too - a lot of 70s 12 inch singles seem to have the same cat. no. as their 7 inch equivalent - I suspect a lot were plugger/rep specials - given out to radio stations as promos, or to favoured chart return shops

I was at a record fair yesterday, and picked up quite a lot of these type of issues - the stock on one stall definitely had loads of white label promos from the 80s plus some unusual 70s issues too, some will be added on this website today as I check through the pile of 25 12" inch singles and 2 10" singles - most are from 1977 to 1984

One I did see, but didn't BUY - was a 12" of Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick by Ian Dury - on Stiff, with the cat. no. on a huge sticker on the front stating BUY 38 - despite it actually being 12BUY38 - that one's already listed with a good set of images.
But I wonder how it was ordered from the record company - maybe it was a rep special, and couldn't be ordered separately?

 @anorak.
I never saw one for "Lost In Music" at the Time. I will get the digger to have a look through the 12" singles and see If I did pick one up. There are plenty of copy's of this one and 7" versions on E-Bay. H.

 Surely this must have been released as a 12" back in 1979?. It would have had the UK number..K11337T. I just CANNOT find it!.
