Lee Wrecker 15th Dec 2022		All Record Store Day releases are international aren't they? I thought we'd gone through this before? On the label Plangent Visions Music Ltd. are listed but were apparently dissolved in 2019 but nevertheless they are/were a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMG Rights Management (UK) which in turn is owned by Bertelsmann AG an international media company operating in more than 50 countries. BMG Rights Management, which includes BMG Rights Management (UK), is the successor of the original Bertelsmann Music Group, was founded shortly after Sony bought the original BMG’s recorded-music assets and Universal Music bought the original BMG’s publishing assets. Nearly everything is international these days and anything or at least 99% of of anything on BMG certainly is.
