 The Warren is a youth community centre in Hull - I don't know much about this record other than it was released as a fundraiser, but I'm sure there was no band (as such) called "The Warren" and that they probably existed only for the purposes of this record. It's undated but I suspect late 80s or thereabouts (I will try and find out). Note the telephone number is pre-1990.

The Warren has faced financial difficulties many times over the years and sadly in 2014 they are once again struggling - efforts are underway as I type to raise money, once again, to keep it open.

It is a valued and much-loved resource for young people in Hull (18-25 I believe). It is also the home of the Warren Records label [link goes to CD Album World].

Music wise this isn't a bad record. The A side is a bit "Simple Minds" for my tastes but I really like the B side, which puts me in mind of The Mission on one of their good days. Decent.
