RogerFoster 25th Jan 2017		Reviewed by Bob Killbourn in "Blues & Soul" 276, 24th April 1979 (image #1248632). Also available, with a shorter version of "Loving Is Really My Game" as a 7" single. Eek .... I originally put the date of the review as 24th April 1976. Now corrected to 1979.



RogerFoster 28th Dec 2014		The 12" record was issued on semi-transparent cherry red vinyl. "Loving Is Really My Game" was "disco-eye-qued" (I think that it is how it was spelt) with gaps in the spacing of the groove (termed "spirals" on the label) similar to that found on L.P. records. The idea of this was so that DJs could easily zoom into the different parts of the record, e.g. a specific instrumental break or vocal reprise, as these "spirals" matched changes in the song itself. I don't think the idea was very successful as it wasn't picked up on by other record companies.
