 I always thought that, this was being a 'Mod' was all about, being one, or two steps ahead. In 1985 both Paul and Mick were photographed, wearing blazers, with badges, white chino's, and loafers, by 1988, they had moved on but that style was 'fashionable'.

 I remember hating the house 'turn' at the time, but, in retrospect, Weller was a genius, way before his time. This really was 'mod' in 1989.
