1		Vinyl Album Kim Fowley - Love Is Alive And Well Kim's first LP, released on Tower Records in 1967. It garnered much press in the music industry, and Kim went on a promotional tour across the US holding 'love-ins'. BB "Pop Special Merit" 7/8/67: "Fowley, one of the co-ordinators of the love "be-in's" or gatherings taking place in many of the nation's large cities, has recorded a collection of songs based on the flower movement. Using love as his theme, Fowley has written or co-written all of the tunes. The strength of this album will ride on the popularity Fowley accrues at his gatherings. - - - - - BB 6/10/67: 'Love-ins' promote Tower's Fowley LP Los Angeles- Tower Records has developed print and visual promotional aids for promoting "love-ins" in conjunction with the debut of newly signed Kim Fowley's first LP, "Love Is Alive and Well". The Capitol subsidiary has available for TV stations a five-minute color film of a recent Coast love-in, plus a kit explaining how to stage a love-in and an explanation of the developing love generation concept among pop music devotees.	1967
