allan0318 20th Jul 2023		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - Elvis	This is the stereo version of the lp that was released in 1956. Only the mono version is listed from 1956 on 45cat. My copy has the black label similar to the mono version. I am sure they didn't wait 6 years to release the stereo version. The orange label shown I am sure was released after his death when RCA re-released everything he ever recorded.

David was living in Vegas at the time doing EFX at the MGM Grand. He was seated at a table and everyone present got to go up and talk to David and have him autograph your cd. They are the composers of I Like It Like That as recorded by Chris Kenner and the Dave Clark Five. This track by Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels is actually the Miracles song I Like It Like That and should have been credited to W. Robinson and Tarplin.

In the 70s and 80s, Stevie's mother owned and operated an antique store in Arizona called Silver Springs Emporium which carried an eclectic assortment from which one could furnish many Stevie houses. Thus the inspiration for the song. The shop also was the inspiration for Silver Springs, which Stevie gave her mother all royalties to the song. [YouTube Video]
