Colin Hewes 22nd Sep 2018		Live Music Medicine Head @ Penelope's	Again got in by helping. Got to know them, nice guys, always great show & atmosphere. I’ve often wondered if Peter played the Jews harp on the Who’s Join together, great song.
Colin Hewes 22nd Sep 2018		Live Music Strawbs @ Festival Theatre	Another one I helped on, they had trouble with the melatron so in the end Dave Cousins played an acoustic set. Meanwhile a lot of the band & crew were playing drinking games in the bar, a good night.

Had the pleasure of working with them later on when I started my own PA hire company in the early 2000’s when they played at national biker gigs (HDRCGB international, Talgarth & Oswestry)
Colin Hewes 22nd Sep 2018		Live Music Leo Sayer @ Pavilion Theatre	Again worked on this gig, not my style of music at the time but I’ll never forget it as Leo has a unique style live & quite a voice.
Colin Hewes 22nd Sep 2018		Live Music Roy Wood's Wizzard @ Rainbow Pavilion	I know it is a sign of the times but it’s hard to remember what’s what with ELO, Roy Wood & The Move that year, as I recall, 2 ELO gigs (1 with 1 without Roy Wood) & a Move gig. Went to & helped On get in & out on all of them, Happy if vague memories. Importantly for me the support band at 1 of the ELO gigs noticed me & offered me a job as their roadie, yippee I said yes, they were called Stool Pigeon & came from West London, where we did quite a few gigs, the greyhound Fulham Palace Rd, etc. Me living in the back of the van....

Two shows in one day, only time I’ve been involved in one of those. Got to watch the shows from the FOH position. Ziggy Stardust came to town!
