Issue #1 also came with a pull out poster which I seem to have lost over the last 49 years. Published by Phoebus Publishing Company/BBC. Issues 1 - 26 published between September 1973 and March 1974 to coincide with the weekly BBC Radio One series of the same name, introduced by Alan Freeman and produced by Tim Blackmore. The magazine continued after the radio series finished with issues 27 - 53 now titled The Story of Pop Special Volume. Published by Phoebus Publishing Company with no reference to the BBC.
