DRIVEIN101-45worlds 8th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album The Yardbirds - Little Games	COLLECTORS' NOTE: Epic Records, who had already made a number of pressing errors with The Yardbirds' previous output, really messed up with this album. There are a number of pressings of "Little Games" issued with mono album covers and pressed with mono labels but the album itself is STEREO. To verify if yours is a genuine mono copy, look at the matrix number under either side designation. If it begins with XEM, it is a true mono pressing. If it begins with XSB (despite that the label does not indicate stereo under the EPIC logo and shows the mono catalog number of LN 24313), it's a mispackaged and mispressed stereo copy.

To determine this, check the three-letter prefix of the master number on the labels and in the trail-out grooves. Genuine mono masters are prefixed with "XEM"; if it shows "XSB" (despite the "LN 24313" catalog number and no indication of STEREO under the Epic logo), it's a stereo copy.
