Fokeman ● 5th May 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumWrex Tarr - Futi Chilapalapa | The (P) only appeared on the rear of sleeve and was likely a price code. It was not part of the catalogue number and did not appear on the label. It is also not part of the pattern of catalogue numbers used elsewhere by the label.

Fokeman ● 5th May 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumMary Sandeman - Introducing Mary Sandeman | Recorded at REL Studios, as was her album as Aneka.
Fokeman ● 5th May 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Bonn Oir '65 | Note the two albums uploaded so far both contain the singing of Aneka when she was plain "Mary Sandeman".
Fokeman ● 4th May 2024 | | CD AlbumMeat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell ll | ... but the rear insert doesn't match the CD.
Fokeman ● 3rd May 2024 | | CD AlbumJeff Lynne's ELO - Alone In The Universe [Deluxe Edition] | Did all copies come with a lenticular cover?
Fokeman ● 3rd May 2024 | | CD AlbumMeat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell ll | There are lots of number here but they don't seem to all tally... where is 35 1891 ? also the reference to UK and France on the back doesn't say German issue to me. BIEM is not a German rights collection organisation.
Fokeman ● 3rd May 2024 | | CD SingleDavid Gray - You're The World To Me | It's difficult to believe that this 1-track cd single was released commercially. One track usually means a promo.
Fokeman ● 1st May 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumJudas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny | I've darkened the Pye Distribution as there is almost no contrast between the white and the light blue to allow it to be read.
Fokeman ● 29th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumQuintessence - Quintessence | On my copy both sides are half open but I don't know how you can put the record in both half sides. So I suppose you just slide it in one side and then hide it behind the sleeve on the other side.
Fokeman ● 29th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumRichie Thomas - Yr Hen Rebel | Cursèd autocorrect! ;-)
Fokeman ● 28th Apr 2024 | | CD AlbumKevin Burke, Johnny Cunningham, Christian Lemaitre - The Celtic Fiddle Festival | Johnny is still much missed...
Fokeman ● 27th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumRoy Harper - HQ |

Band features Chris Spedding, Bill Bruford and John Paul Jones-not bad.
... not to mention Dave Gilmour, Steve Broughton, David Bedford and Ray Warleigh! Only the best!
Fokeman ● 26th Apr 2024 | | CD AlbumRichard Digance - Back On Song | Where does it say Dambuster? He sold Dambuster to CM and this looks more like the label is Richard Digance Music (or Merchandise) (RDM)
Without exception Dambuster prefixes were DAM.
Fokeman ● 26th Apr 2024 | | CD AlbumThe Hush [Geordies] - Dark To The Sky | One of the best and most listened to CDs in my whole collection. I was lucky enough to see them perform live and it was one of my favourite concerts ever. I drove miles to see it. I'm gutted that they didn't do another CD but it was a large band (six members) and it must be difficult to sustain a group without significant financial success.
Fokeman ● 26th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumHogia'r Wyddfa - Caneuon Gorau Hogia'r Wyddfa | It was obviously important for SAIN because right at the beginning of the LP series, they put H before they even put the catalogue number.
On a more pedantic note, the plural of suffix is suffixes.
Fokeman ● 25th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumBoy And Bear - Boy & Bear | Hi Robert, the best idea is to download Paint.net (a free program) which is relatively simple to use and for which we have already loaded instructions. This works best with Windows computers. If you have a Mac, then there are other programs which can do the job. If you are doing it all from your phone then it might be most simple to crop square and let someone else or a moderator trim your labels from square to round. Feel free to contact me via the message service to ask for advice.

Fokeman ● 25th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumHogia'r Wyddfa - Caneuon Gorau Hogia'r Wyddfa | Can any Welsh-speaking SAIN experts tell us what the difference between D and H is? I'm assuming Stereo / Mono? Later issues were H and earlier issues D but this says D & Stereo? Is it therefore an error on the label rather than an error on the sleeve?
Looking at Hogia' Wyddfa
their LPs went D, H, D, D, H. So there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason in this letter unless it was linked to price or genre?
#The Judge, can you help?

Fokeman ● 25th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumRichie Thomas - Yr Hen Rebel | My knowledge of Welsh (cymraig) is sufficient to tell me that this is an album called "The Old Rebel". I thank you.
Fokeman ● 24th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Spinners [UK] - The Family Of Man | [YouTube Video]
Fokeman ● 24th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumPaul And Glen - Paul & Glen | Track B2 was also performed by The (Liverpool) Spinners as "Asikatali" so perhaps both attempts were wrongly rendered by whoever wrote the sleeve or label information.

Fokeman ● 24th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl Album[no artist listed] - Exotic Dances | I'm now dubious of this 1950 date. That was probably an earlier 78rpm issue. This is more likely to date from quite a bit later as a 33 1/3rpm issue.
Fokeman ● 24th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumUncle Dave Macon - Uncle Dave Macon | A later issue exists with a blue cover and blue label. This newer issue has a 1967 publishing date on the label.
Fokeman ● 23rd Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumMaggie Boyle - Reaching Out | I have a promo stating "Week 49 - 11/12/87" which might indicate that this was released at the very end of 1987 on the 11th December 1987.
Fokeman ● 23rd Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumJudas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny | I'll add the Pye Distribution too. As soon as my internet starts working again...
Fokeman ● 23rd Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumQuintessence - Quintessence | Any idea on how the record is supposed to fit into the sleeve?
Fokeman ● 23rd Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumLongdancer - If It Was So Simple | Brian Harrison left Longdancer to join Barry & Robin Dransfield in their group "Dransfield".
See here...
Fokeman ● 18th Apr 2024 | | 78 RPMJack Byfield - Saltarello / Saltarello | This is probably simply a "home recording" from the radio. The 1950s equivalent of home taping. The B side label probably never did exist.
Fokeman ● 15th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Chieftains - The Chieftains 3 | I also have the bright cyan label with 1973 on the label which coincides with it having just won the Valladolid prize in 1973.
Fokeman ● 15th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Rakes - The Rakes | I have an orange label. Other labels are available.
Fokeman ● 7th Apr 2024 | | Vinyl AlbumBachelor's Gate - Bachelor's Gate | John Connolly is a misspelling of John Conolly.
