GEMSMFAN 31st Mar 2015		Live Music Bjorn Again @ The Vanderbilt	held at a large dance club on Long Island (now closed as a club and currently the Racing Palace for Nassau OTB). this was great and cameras were allowed. I went to the gas station next door and bought a cheap disposable camera with flash and took photos, most of which came out quite good being that I was near the stage.

(shortened on the ticket)... formerly the Brendon Byrne Arena, currently the Izod Centre never saw Bruce 'live', but I've heard his shows are long and well worth a the price of admission. living in NY, tix aren't that easy to get for someone's hometown that is NJ. speaking of which.. tix have become harder to get and they're also quite expensive, especially if you can get a ticket with a decent view.

GEMSMFAN 17th Mar 2015		Cassette Album Buck Owens - Close Up	can't scan cassette shell as I replaced the cassette reels into a new shell when actual tape snapped and I spliced it and reshelled it. the original shell was damaged to open what was a molded, not screwed together shell. Cassette albums were usually recorded on poor or low quality tape, to keep costs down. When they got old, oxide would shed onto tape player heads.

DIDP is NOT a catalog number, but a number assigned by Digital Audio Disc Corp., when this CD was manufactured (pressed). They were assigned to discs pressed outside the U.S., for sale in the U.S. D = Digital ID = Identification Project P = Popular (music) fyi: the last letter would be "C" (DIDC) for Classical CD's, in this program

The catalog number is 960 342-2 on Asylum. The disc was pressed in Germany by Record Service GmbH, Alsdorf. PCB5394: Does your release have a bar code on the back of the case? Don't want to submit, if you're submission info would change (possibly being corrected) and my submission is deleted (really extra work now, for nothing, in the future).

GEMSMFAN 8th Mar 2015		CD Album Nena - 99 Luftballons	this is an early U.S. CD... I recently read that the original jewel cases were smooth on the top and bottom.. no ridges. This was released in one of those.
