GEMSMFAN 23rd May 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: Original MGM Motion Picture Soundtrack	Review A 1968 fantasy for the whole family from MGM about an inventor who takes salvaged parts and creates a flying car. This film could've easily come from Disney, as the Sherman Brothers, who wrote for many of Walt's films were used, as well as actor, Dick Van Dyke. A great film musical along with a great soundtrack presented here. Sort of like Disney meets Rodgers & Hammerstein. It is mentioned in the liner notes of this disc that the original LP track order was used where the music wasn't presented in the order sequence in which it appeared in the film, to allow it to fit on one record. 3 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

Check CD ring, as this number should be etched there.
