Early CD's were quite often pressed in Japan for the European and USA markets, so, here, a Japanese made Disc has been paired with the Dutch artwork. With regard to the CB number, these are the French retail price codes used in Europe (not used in the UK i don't think) at the point of sale (till) to identify which distributer to pay ,or, if not at the till individually, then presumably by bulk, i.e, 100 CB 801 albums by someone in the office of the retailer? (it would be great if someone in the Distribution business could let us know). "CB" does indeed stand for CBS i think, just as "POL" stands for Polydor. I have seen code number changes quite often and i think it's just an adminstritive thing?. gregs45s SUBS 10th Aug 2024		CD Album Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster - Coleman Hawkins Encounters Ben Webster	Was able to compare this remaster to the stock release (823 120-2)(not saying that recording is a bad one, that AAD is a good one also), and, can confirm it's a definite upgrade, the instruments are better spaced creating an improved soundstage, and the overall clarity has been improved, highlighting details previously unheard on the original. (Recommended) 8-9/10

There are some (dodgy/humorous) (which is fairly common) tracklisting gaffs on the CD1 Disc :) The two Discs look ill matched, one is silvered, and one has a gold playside (possibly the one that's HDCD) offered "as is"
