Helen Willemse 21st Oct 2022		CD Album Whitney Houston - I'm Your Baby Tonight	Funny how the US, EU, Japanese releases have different versions of track 1. Wikipedia says: All non-North American countries have the "Yvonne Turner Mix" of "I'm Your Baby Tonight" replacing the L.A. Reid/Babyface original version as track 1. There is a 4:17 (EU album version) mix and a 5:02 (US album version) My Jap. release has the 4:17 mix.

Made in USA... smaller print says EU. Innerring took my doubts away. Mods, please forgive the corrections. The USA Cat# starts with 314 and yes I could have checked that right away but I have this floater in my eye that sort of .....s my vision lately. Sorry I kinda panicked!

Originally the album was released in Japan during 1996 as Avatar (which I will submit later on as Japanese reissue of 2003) Love is life = a renewed version from the 1970 album Earth, Wind & Fire. Fill You Up = Feel U Up, same song.

If there is anyone here who can read Japanse, it would be nice if he or she could put the translation in the comments. I wonder what fairy tale they are using to make people buy expensive remasters that are not hahaha! I worked in a high end audiostore, people... they were making people crazy with these thing and still are. A 62 euro CD.. that sounds like recording a tape in the red, put a term with bits and Khz and they will buy it no matter how it sounds. Admitting it is of course something the audiophile does not do.

Helen Willemse 3rd Oct 2022		CD Album Earth, Wind And Fire - Faces	Don't be fooled with the DSD Mastering, it's left behind from the SACD releases. In some Japan releases are the US booklets reused. DSD is only for SACD, not regular CD's plus you will never hear the difference.

LP version was different from CD version. EU version was different from US version. There was a Special Remix Extended in 1983 5:51 mins. A 5:25 mins and 5:55 mins version. Love this song, no matter what version, it's one of my favorites!

The capacity in Europe, UK and USA at the time was small for the pressing manufacturers. If I am correct this version has "Printed In Holland" on the covers somewhere? If so, it was released in 1986.
