Jack Diamonds 30th Dec 2023		Vinyl Album Expressos - Promises And Ties	"Expressos", for were of one great band. For as regards UK they had 'four' excellent Vinyl Singles during 1980 & 1981 (I have all 4 of them). A plus, during 1981 they recorded and released this excellent Vinyl Album, "Promises And Ties", of which I have too. Rozzi Rayner,-their superbly voiced female vocalist,-with an all male backing of superb musicians. There needs to be 'one' CD that is 'dedicated' to the Expressos with 'all' of their recordings. And as I have mentioned on one of their 4, 45's on a 45cat, the Expressos have 'not' been forgotten about by myself, for sures. Please note: NONE of those images are mine. But just needed to add some 'missing' (I felt) informations about this former & great band.

One great rockabilly / rock and roll band. ..This their 2015 CD recorded, produced, etc, in Finland. And where these guys have their own recording studio. "Restless" first formed during 1978.

Helen Shadow - vocal, rhythm guitar. Darrel Higham - vocal, lead guitar Pat Reyford - drums, bass, tenor sax, steel guitar. Anders Janes - bass, piano. Pat Reyford - additional vocal on "Shooting Star". - "Special Brew" - rockin' 'instrumental'. Added Back Cover, and, 'A' & 'B' Record 'Labels'.

Jack Diamonds 26th Dec 2023		CD Album Bob Butfoy - Deliverance	"Deliverance" (2017), is of just one great rockin' album from a Bob Butfoy, the talented rockabilly singer-songwriter-guitarist. All dozen songs were written by Bob Butfoy. And Bob, is the vocalist on all tracks, and the acoustic guitarist on majority of tracks, plus, maracas on 07. ..This CD features several other as talented musicians, Darrel Higham, Alan Wilson, Rob Tyler, The Bitter Pills & Ben Turner. And who between them all add their various musician skills to these 12 songs. The rockabilly great, Darrel Higham, adding his majestic electric guitar and double bass skills (either or both) on tracks, 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12. Bob Butfoy, was with legendary rockabilly bands "Bob And The Bearcats" (with Darrel Higham), during early & mid 1990's. And thereafter, Bob Butfoy, formed, "Jack Rabbit Slim". ..Meanwhile, Darrel Higham, went onto pure brilliance in rockabilly music. A mention must be made of Alan Wilson whose own marvellous electric guitar skills & Western Star Recording Company, from where in Bristol this very CD was recorded, produced, released. Added CD disc.

'Track 07' of, "Indian Boogie", is rockin' 'instrumental' on this 2014 CD of theirs, "Wild Night Of Love", with, "Wild Records", of USA. A this Russian band's previous CD of, "I'm Gonna Leave You", (2013), is with Spain's, "El Toro Records". Havin' commented on that CD, too. Inner Cover (showing the four band members), plus, CD disc. A while that 'track' is 'not' on 2015 released CD Album of, "The Girl Can't Help It!", from a German CD Record Label "Jazztank", and a while it is on 2016 Vinyl Album from Germany's "Bear Family Records". "Sandy And The Wild Wombats", are of one fabulous rockabilly band from Germany. They being fronted via those fabo vocals of Sandy Wild. ..A since this CD (2015) &, Vinyl (2016) Albums, for they have released 'two' further CD Albums. I have them all.
