jp975345_cat 31st Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumPoco - Rose Of Cimarron | I have this 1976 UK release ABCL 5166, but it has a black label (see discogs)
But the front cover is like the US release.
My cover, doesn't have the 'Poco Rose of Cimarron' (in black printing, top left corner) nor is there a colour roundel ('Poco Rose of Cimarron with a red rose in the middle), printed (top right corner) on the cover.
I presume, it had the round sticker (on the shrink wrap), now long gone.

jp975345_cat 20th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumDevadip Carlos Santana / Turiya Alice Coltrane - Illuminations | 'Linked Releases' section missing
I can find a (unlinked) Netherlands release
https://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/album/cbs69063
a UK release (which I own) CBS S 69063, 1974 (is not listed on 45Worlds)
I know this album had a Quad mix as well, so I suspect SQ vinyl is out there (somewhere?)

jp975345_cat 20th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumSantana - Santana [III] | Yes the title of this album is 'Santana', not to be confused with the 1st album, which has the title of 'Santana'.
Hope that clears up any confusion :)

jp975345_cat 18th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Specials - More Specials | Always thought the colour photo front cover was a mistake, they should of stuck with black & white cover artwork.
It's a 2-Tone theme!
The 'music biz' opinion of the 1st album's monochrome front was that it restricted sales (which may of had some truth in the US market).

jp975345_cat 18th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Specials - The Specials | So, is this album called 'The Specials' or just 'Specials'?
Based on a conversation, I had with Terry Hall, his opinion was the album was titled 'Specials'

jp975345_cat 14th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumJohn Mayall With Eric Clapton - Blues Breakers | Can the date (1966) of this LP be correct? My understanding is that the Stereo mix wasn't undertaken until 1968/1969.

jp975345_cat 14th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumJohn Mayall With Eric Clapton - Blues Breakers | In the mid seventies, I had to wait around for several hours at Decca. To kill some time I was allowed to browse through Decca's 'music releases' card index. Being a John Mayall fan the first thing I looked at was the 'bluesbreaker' cards. I can confirm that in Decca's opinion, the album title is 'Blues Breakers' and the artist is 'John Mayall with Eric Clapton'. I've been telling people this information for 40+ years! So I was pleased to see that 45worlds has this listed correctly.

jp975345_cat 14th Oct 2023 | | Vinyl AlbumJohn Mayall And The Bluesbreakers - John Mayall Plays John Mayall | In the mid seventies, I had to wait around for several hours at Decca. To kill some time I was allowed to browse through Decca's 'music releases' card index. Being a John Mayall fan the first thing I looked at was the 'bluesbreaker' cards. I was surprised to see that in Decca's opinion when they pressed the first album it was titled 'John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers'. In the notes section it mentioned 'recorded Hampstead (Klooks Kleek)', some engineering equipment details and publishing rights info. There was no mention of 'John Mayall plays John Mayall'!
