Kevin G 3rd Dec 2022		Live Music Billy Joel @ Toad's Place	This was a 2 night stand with 2 shows per night The club's legal was 700, and we sold or gave away every one of them. One thing that I remember about this show, which almost stopped it in its tracks....... At 3:PM Friday afternoon we discovered that the local power company's service wasn't up to the challenge of our sound system and lights, Billy's sound system and a recording truck, (not to mention the other local businesses on the block, LOL, Oh yeah, and Yale University) The promoter connected with a generator truck and we all held our breath and said a silent prayer for this guy who had to drive up I-95 from New Jersey in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic. The song Los Angelenos was chosen for the live album that was released from this tour. Billy Joel was a gentleman and really connected with the crowd.
