The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Magazine
Contents:
"The Electronic Frankenstein Affair" by Robert Hart Davis
"The Dead Man" by Fritz Leiber, Jr
"The Wasp Nest" by Edwin P. Hicks
"Messenger Of Disaster" by Josephine Noyes
"The Potted Purple Petunia" by Lee Russell
"Epitaph For A Spy" by Clayton Matthews
"Desert Execution" by Tom Godwin

I'm not sure whether fiction magazines are wanted on this site, or if so whether this is the way to go about listing them. I know there are plenty of other online resources for magazine collectors (especially in the SF field which is where most of my collection falls).

Record Collector
Ha! first to get an issue of RC onto the new world! I bet this is one of the first magazines (other than one-offs) to get a full archive up here.

Crawdaddy
Paul Williams, the founder of Crawdaddy, passed away last week after a long illness following a head injury sustained in a cycling accident. Here's one of the many online obituaries.

Junkstar - Magazine
My copy of this came tucked into a copy of the two-track vinyl release.

Ether - He Say Yeah
Nice use of the old EMI "45" sigil, though pedants might point out that it does not equate to "single", and that CDs do not rotate at 45rpm...

Delirious? - Deeper (Radio Edit)

Various Artists - Baz Luhrmann Presents The Sunscreen Song (Class Of '99)
Somewhat vexed by performer credits while adding this one. It's generally credited to Baz Luhrmann, of course, but the credits on the inside flap are quite clearly stated as I've entered them, and I think 45worlds rules mean that they prevail. I've put Luhrmann's name in the title field since that will at least mean he can be searched for.

Buffalo Tom - Going Underground / Carnation
Added variant pressing of CD. Hard to tell from the scan, but the outer ring of this one is transparent with the rim text printed on it in white.

Crowded House - Nails In My Feet
Added producer info plus cardboard placeholder for CD2.

Vagrant - Nite Mare
I know no more about this Detroit metal band or this release than can be found here, save to mention that I own it because one of the members was the (long estranged) father of someone I once dated...

A Gun That Shoots Knives - Love
Yet another great and underappreciated Seattle band, off the wall as hell but in the best of ways. Band website here, interview with them about this EP here.

Fleet Foxes - Sun Giant
Seattle troubadours, very much flavour of the day around the time of this release. Songs recorded after their first album but released in advance of it.

John Otway - Bunsen Burner (The Hit Mix)
The story of how his fan club orchestrated this to #9 in the UK chart as a 50th birthday present for the dotty, loveable singer-songwriter is well known; I made sure to buy all three versions, you may be sure. The inner liner has the name of everyone who crowded into Abbey Road to sing backing on "Rising Sun".

For 45worlds members, simplest way is probably to PM me.

The Donutsh - We Are All Strange Jane
Immediate declaration: this is my band and my label. Been hesitating about putting it up but it's a genuine kosher item, honest guv, available at gigs, by post and at the more discerning and rarified recorded-music emporiums...

Ragtag Orchestra - Soho In The Morning
I think the date for this is 2013 but can't swear to it, especially since the Facebook link given is dead and the Myspace one has no band info at all...

LA Dreamers - The Best Of LA Dreamers... EP
No catalogue number or composer credits evident.

The Auteurs - The Rubettes
Final single from this group, from How I Learned To Love The Bootboys album. #66 UK chart.

The Black Alley Screens - Childhood Nemesis
DIY release from Northern Ireland band, who moved to Glasgow after this release. Website on the CD appears defunct but Facebook page still extant. Entered under Ireland rather than UK because the studio recording these is Irish.

Mclusky - Rice Is Nice
Trailer single for their first album My Pain and Sadness is More Sad and Painful Than Yours (or as the sleeve here puts it, "my painandsadness ismore sadandpainful thanyours").

The Offspring - Why Don't You Get A Job?
Not certain which of the releases of this song is the CD1 and which the CD2, but this has the higher cat no.

The Offspring - Why Don't You Get A Job?
Very similar in looks, and easily confused with, this edition with a fourth track and a different catalogue number. This version has a black back flap of the inlay, and the letters on the CD are white rather than silver.

The Offspring - Gone Away (Single Version)
First two tracks from Ixnay on the Hombre album, track 4 from the early Baghdad EP. #42 UK chart.

Supergrass - Alright
Scans added. Unfortunately this copy has been water-damaged so I can't unfold the inlay for scanning; better copy scans welcome.

Not sure why the jewel case stickers list this as an "import" (at £7.99!!) with "exclusive tracks"; it appears to be the standard UK release. One of the great moments of Britpop, for me; the first time I heard it was on the car radio just as I was pulling up outside my house, and I couldn't bear to turn the engine off till I'd heard it all.

Voice Of The Beehive - (How To Make The World A) Perfect Place
How to make the world a perfect place, 1991 style: package your CD with a list of charities on glossy white-on-black paper, then plonk the lot inside an enormous cardboard box twice as large as it needs to be, keeping the now-unnecessary jewel case in the whole affair as well. Let's just be glad they didn't put a rhno horn inside the package too.

Darling Violetta - The Kill You EP
Their second CD release, having by now been responsible for the theme tune for "Angel" (note thanks to Joss Whedon in the credits section).

Darling Violetta - Bath•Water•Flowers
Initial EP release from Californian band perhaps best known for its close links with the "Buffy" TV franchise and its spinoffs.

Sparks - When Do I Get To Sing "My Way" (Sparks Radio Edit)
Scans added. One of Sparks' quirkier releases, which is saying something. Cat no ends "LOC 151" on CD inlay but "LOC 144" on disc itself.
