In the early days their main business was producing ads and jingles for radio advertising.
LaurenceD SUBS 16th Jun 2024		Classical Item Wiener Staatsoper, Nicola Rescigno - Verdi: Otello	This recording has been released on some other budget labels; those other releases credit the Dallas Opera (at that time called Dallas Civic Opera). That may be the correct attribution, as Nicola Rescigno was a co-founder of the Dallas Opera. Makes me wonder if this is one of those semi-legit Italian labels...
LaurenceD SUBS 14th Jun 2024		Vinyl Album Ralph Michele - Laughs To Tide You Over	Apparently Ralph Michele was a cruise director for Italian Line Cruises. He was on the Michelangelo ship, which was in use from 1965 - 1975. This does sound like it was recorded during an ocean cruise.

We have the cat# and date for the original USA mono release, but there are 16 tracks instead of 12. The cover images { 503352, 1210241 } look to be from some later reissue. The labels { 2835269, 2835270 } are from an original 1964 stereo pressing. My stereo copy: my stereo entry
LaurenceD SUBS 4th Jun 2024		Vinyl Album Dick Marx - Life Magazine Presents The Original Musical Score From MAG	Front side is instrumental music from the presentation (no narration) Back side plays a repeating 8-second tone Apparently this is the soundtrack from a presentation to promote advertising in magazines and specifically LIFE magazine. There was also a one page letter expressing thanks for attending the presentation.

Times about Pat Collins and the Celebrity Club on Sunset where she would perform. The 1967 film Divorce American Style features a scene at her club.

These are not outtakes, but the same recordings issued on "All Things Must Pass". Of interest are the delta numbers (and Alco stamps) in the runouts. Do you suppose that the folks at Monarch/Alco looked at this and thought that it was some independent release by a band called "Best Of Three" ?
