mojofilter 4th Oct 2024		Vinyl Album Bob Seger And The Last Heard - Heavy Music: The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967	I had a good look at the waveforms, and the songs are all vinyl transfers. They missed a couple of noises on the fade-outs of a few of them, and all appear to be gain-boosted and hard limited. Not egregiously, but the waveform is bigger than it should be. Still, it sounds OK for record transfers.

mojofilter 14th May 2024		78 RPM Eddie Dean - I Dreamed Of A Hillbilly Heaven / Stealing	Thank you for that information! I'm not sure about changing the title. The song is copyrighted and listed worldwide as "I Dreamed Of A Hillbilly Heaven." I entered the other title in Google, and scrolled through 20 pages and did not see a listing for the "I Dreamed I Was In" title. This pressing seems to be an anomaly.

So I turned the dial and it came to rest on "D.O.A." with its sirens wailing and funereal organ. OMG, the guy describes dying in a plane crash! I had to hear the whole song, and I listened to that station until they played it again. A few years later, I worked at that radio station.

There was a limited edition CD pressing for guests of the Art Gallery of Ontario's "Picture The '70s" Gala, April 19, 1997, on Breaking Records CAN-1820. The tracks are so heavily remixed, they don't sound much like the records at all. They emphasized the string section and toned down the rock elements.

Track 1 is called "The Mountain And Maryann" (see back cover), but the label has it "Mountains And Marion."
